New marble pics from my ecclectic collection
Hi to all,
It took me awhile, but here are some of my marbles. I tend to get some pretty crazy when it comes to displaying or finding new ways to do that. I don't think that they should be in bottles, you can't really enjoy them correctly that way. Since one of my other passions is shadow boxing, I have had some new ideas yet to come to fruition, but I will keep you updated and post pics as I complete my projects. For Anyone who doesn't sleep much and has alot of creative ocd, this is just the tip of the iceberg-smile
I have been making shadowboxes since forever! Here are just two that I've done over the years. I really like to use the old wooden printers trays, they make the best ones. I currently have fifteen on my walls, and I am making one right now that is all animals. Next I'm going super hero's, which should be fun. I collect antique hand-made marbles 1880-1910 vintage. In my opinion both are newer type marbles. The whole @ the pontil would not be found on an antique marble. It is tough to tell on the second one, but based on color, I think it is a contemporary marble. Wiyh better photos I could be more helpful.
