Running an Antiques Show...anyone?
Hi all, I have the wacky notion to organize our 5-6 best shops in our small berg here in FL to put on a quality antiques show. We have one sponsored at our museum but the promoter excludes local dealers with the illogic of 'who would pay $20 to see thing they can see for free?'. He really wants to segregate locals from undermining his out-of-towner show. And many dealer's are only from 1-2 hours away so to us, they are competition in our small (18000 pop.) town considering the annual amount…

Ivory Regulations?!?
Anyone started a thread on the new Ivory control regulations? So long ivory value. how can they regulate millions of items? what if there was a national antique ivory sale day and 10-20 million transaction happened?
And I pose to the Fish & Wildlife commission, how long have they been vegetarian? 1977 for me. How many animals have they eaten since 1977?
