I am not looking for an individual item, just looking for a good, one place source, and thanks for the welcome.

Good Morning Carolyn,

Thank you for your input.  I just joined yesterday and was not sure how to navigate the site and only joined some groups and posted pictures of some of my items.  I am not sure exactly where they are, but, I can find them by clicking on photos.  I shall try the forum this evening and tomorrow.  Hopefully, it will work.  I want to find our how much my things are worth becfause we want to sell most of them and do not want to get ripped off.  Thank you again,  JUDY CARr

Hi Carolyn-

I posted my Ruby Lane address on this form.  Not sure where it shows up.  I would love to advertise mt site and see other jewelry items for sale by others, as well as use and be used as a resource in this site, but I am reallt not sure what I am doing on the site.

Wow-another great site to check out. I have a question about posting to the jewelry site. When I look there I notice pics as attachments and then some show up in large formats. When I share my pics with the group do I have to download each one separately or can I do it as an album? I don't have a website and am not selling so a link to the pics won't work. What is your sugg?

Hi Carolyn,
Thank you:) I will definitely look at the links-I am sooo overwhelmed, I get started and then very distracted with another fabulous piece. If you have time I would love to know if you have any information on a couple of my Haskell pieces-the yellow necklace/earring set, the chunky pink necklace, and the pearl/rhinestone necklace and earrings. I have looked everywhere for info. on these particular pieces and have come up empty handed. Anthing would be great~joni

Hi Carolyn-I recently joined this fabulous site and was immediately drawn to your page. I was hoping if you had some time you might help me with some of my pieces. I put pictures up but would love to know if you anything about dates, prices, etc. I have sooo much more and am just getting started but after much research I am still uncertain about most of my pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for that info! That is so neat that they had those type of backgrounds, it must have been a surprise when you opened the frame! Thanks so much for the site, whenever I try and google something I always end up finding the craziest things that have nothing to do with what I intended, so thank you for sending them to me! It saved me from a couple of asprins! And thank you for the lovely comment on the cameo! It makes me want to hurry on over to my jeweler and have him fix it! Thanks so much Carolyn!

Hi Carolyn,

I can't thank you enough for your input on my question! And for those two sites, they were full of good information. Especially the dating references! I had a couple of questions for you, if you don't mind (your always just full of jewelry inf0!). I had no idea that the gold was from a backing, I couldn't find more information on this though. Did a lot of cameos have this? And are all hard stone cameos carved, or are some "machine-made"? I saw that one of the websites referring to Cameos Old and New - many people have recommended this to me, I'll have to snatch it up! Then I can (perhaps) stop pestering! Haha, thanks again Carolyn :)

Hi Carolyn! Thank you so much for taking the time to find those boxes and to take those great photos! I think my favorite has to be the square one, I love everything about it! And does it have leafy / flowery details on top? Because that would be great since my piece has leaves! It is gorgeous all around. How much would you sell this lovely piece for? I would love to purchase it!

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you! I appreciate your help so much! I think that's great that you didn't even try for a collection! I absolutely love those old ring boxes - they seem to be all I can find lately and they're just beautiful! I only have a class ring and an old baby ring and neither would really be as pretty as those darling boxes - so much character. I love your jewelry pictures by the way - I love all of the variety! I especially love the lavelier! Very pretty. Thanks again, Carolyn - I hope you have a fantastic weekend! I know I'll have something to look forward to!

Hi there, thank you so much Carolyn! That is so very nice of you - thanks so much for your time. I like the ones with indents but I'm not sure if anything would be near to the size of my locket - so I think probably a flat one. The locket I have is also in my pictures - http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/photo/victorian-enamel-leaf-design?context=user - It's about 2.5 inches by 1 inch. Let me know if you need any more info. My budget is unfortunately a little sad, it's "around" $20. But of course it could stretch - I don't really know the prices of these old boxes so my budget is also a little flaky - haha. I just buy too many shiny things! Thanks again for all of your help! I bet you have a great collection!
