I participated in my first "live" online auction this past Saturday. I had visited the auction in person for previewing items so I knew what I was bidding on. I stopped at a new thrift store near my home the other day and was daunted by the amount of glassware available. I am finding that I need to train my eyes to pick out stuff that might be worth something. I saw a milk glass animal box--a circular one with a bird top--not a hen but maybe a dove. I hadn't seen one like it before; it was only $1 so I bought it. I couldn't see any markings on it--lights not real bright in the shop and the large price sticker covered most of the bottom. Got…Continue

My sister, Beth, and I have rented a small space in GNC Antique and Collectibles in Winchester, VA. We are in the process of setting up our booth.
