- Tell us about your interest in antiques, collecting and any antique related websites, blogs, businesses.
- I have two Etsy shops, One Vintage (frstyfrolk)with all sorts of things as I love to visit antique shops, estate sales, consignment shops and lately flea markets.
My other Etsy shop is a Collective with my 81 year old Mother . Our shop features Handmade Mixed Media and a Supplies shop. Our shop is with my Mother who sews handbags and I share my Handmade, ( ByLightOfMoon) using mainly mixed media vintage materials and some new items as supplies.
I have collected estate, auction, consignment shops, thrift stores, anywhere I can find good quality vintage or to upcycle if not perfect as perfect can be with vintage items.
My husband and I retired to North Carolina last summer and I am in the process of liquidating my inventory to make more room in our small cabin and storage site. We had a flea market booth that we also just closed in December until spring when sales pick up again because of the weather if we still have inventory.
We never stared the flea market booth back up ( only the vacationer's here have any money in the summertime when they come to their vacation homes)
and my focus and changed to the Beautiful Nature in the Woods as we live in the Nantahala National Forest in Western North Carolina.
I sell many items of nature that I now collect as supplies and hand mades in my "ByLightOfMoon" Etsy shoppe!
I also have a Bonanza shop for newer items and my buying obsessions, I could not date. I have many vintage linens of all kinds and some fabulous china dishes I found.

I love what I do and will continue just on a smaller scale. I want to do more mixed media and spend more time on it.

getting back to active status
So sorry I have been inactive lately, I am still unpacking and arranging into our new home, we made a third trip last week of a huge U-Haul and our rented storage shed is full to the brim, it will be hard to go through as it is unloaded the way the movers did it. I believe Christmas is in the back and books are everywhere along with fabrics, china and linens.
