"Sharron, if you will Google, Nefertiti bust, click "Images" you will see hundreds of similar, including yours (exactly) "brand new dust and resin for $49.99" of NYC. Sorry."

Nefertiti Ivory Sculpture (?) Possibly Walrus Tooth

I found this very heavy little sculpture of Nefertiti at a thrift store. It measures 4 7/8" high 2 1/4" wide. I found a website that discussed Schreger lines, the base of this sculpture looks like walrus tooth Schreger lines.  Assistance is greatly appreciated. Can jewelers assist with identifying if this is ivory?See More

"Thanks for the kudos.  Let me add that wooden cutting boards are hard to clean and are breeding grounds for many diseases. Earlier I said to look inside the troughs for cut marks...no need as they can be seen in your picture #10268."

"Ok, I see in your third pic above that there are several layers of thin wood put together - that indicates a less expensive process, and I'm strongly leaning toward an Asian cabinet or chest of some kind. Both the wood and the design might…"

"It looks like a desk drawer insert. It is unusual, do you have any markings anywhere? Also - if you could find a place with bright lighting, it would really help to see details in your photos. "
