I live in the foothills of the Smokies, the only effect we had was the smoke and hazy look for days, anyone with breathing issues was advised to stay inside. I will be posting some of my of my glass in a couple of days, have some pictures on phone that needs to be downloaded. I go to a lot of estate sales, and have found some unique pieces. Will be posting some by the weekend..
I am a collector and seller... I live in middle Tn and have 2 booths, one is glassware, vintage and antiques, the other booth is mostly old furniture.. So happy to find this group.
Since it has a lid, I am thinking like you said earlier that it might have been for Cream of Tartar. Since all of the spice jars are printed one liners maybe they just used the word Cream. I am really not sure.
Thank you for your welcome. I do have a site on Etsy and I sell mid century items. I also like industrial. Pat

Hello Barbara,
I live in the midwest, Illinois.
I found the "Old Time" Mugs while in Saint Louis.
Who distributed The Mugs?
I'm not a serious collector but pick up odd swanky swigs, labeled milk glass and fire king when I find it.
Have a nice day.
Thanks for the wonderful welcome. I'm in eastern NC actually, closer to the coast. I am looking forward to being a part of this group. Vintage kitchen items are my weakness. Pyrex, Corning, Glasbake, etc. not to mention pots, pans and roasters. Bless him, my other half now picks right up on the "good stuff" at flea markets, thrift shops.....And he has a pretty good eye too, lucky me!
Thank you, Theresa
Hi Barbara, Thanks! Glad to be here! I don't think we've met, though. I've never been to Renningers. But I sell online and at the Olde Factory in Hummelstown. So maybe from there? If not, perhaps we will meet someday! :o)
I'll share one of my recent sales - Pyrex Butterfly Gold Compatibles, still in the sealed box!DSC_0027-001.JPG
I collect cartoon glasses and in that collection is included jelly glasses. I sent an email to that interest in fact, asking why not include jelly glasses to the group title like - "Peanut butter and jelly glasses including swanky swig" I mean the relationship goes about as well as fishing and hunting, doesn't it?
Thanks for your welcome, Cap
