This item is very rare.  My Mother says she believes there were only about 300 made.  Her father had an account with Toastmaster in the 30s and 40s when he was in advertising in NYC.  The toaster still works.  The trays show a little wear but over all the set is in excellent condition.  The cord of course should be replaced.  Toastmaster Hostess Hospitality Set - Made by August Wendell Forge, Inc. in
