An unusual late 19th century Victorian timepiece and barometer.

The timepiece and barometer are set in individual oval brass cases and stand on a shaped rouge marble base. The clock and barometer both have circular white enamel dials, the clock with Roman numerals, the barometer with barometric pressures and weather conditions on the respective dials. The barometer has a thermometer on the reverse and on the reverse of the clock the works are exposed.

The clock comes with its custom made original leather covered carrying case that has an oblong bevelled glass front and opens from the top by releasing two brass catches. The case has a red velvet lined interior with a space to house the clock and key.

The clock and barometer are in excellent working condition, the clock comes with a 12 month guarantee. The thermometer does seem to have a very small bubble in the original alcohol filled tube which makes the reading too high. The leather case does have some marks from use and would have had a carrying handle that is missing. (Circa 1870)
