George III Dressing Mirror

A George III mahogany dressing mirror with a shield shaped original mirror in a mahogany frame.

The frame has a decorative boxwood edge and is held into two shaped supports with brass screws, adorned with ring handles. The mirror base is bow fronted and has three boxwood edged drawers. The two smaller outer drawers have battle axe shaped handles, whilst the middle drawer has a plain lock and key. The mirror stands on four O.G shaped feet. (Circa 1800)

The mirror is in a good condition though the mirror plate does have some marks to the silvering around the edges which shows it is the original but this does not detract from it's use.
