An early Victorian mahogany bookcase.
The bookcase has a two door glazed cabinet top over a two door cupboard base and drawer. The glazed top has three adjustable shelves which are pine with a mahogany front edge. The pair of doors have a single glazing bar each and carved details at the top and bottom of each door.
The cupboard base has a pair of panelled doors and inside a single tray shelf and above the cupboard the shaped front door is mahogany and pine lined.
The bookcase is a lovely original colour mahogany and has a good grain to the timber. The locks and keys are in working order. (Circa 1860)
