18th century First Period Worcester tea pot and lid.
The pumpkin shaped tea pot has a circular ribbed body with a dark blue under glaze line decoration near the bottom edge and around the rim. The tea pot has gilt detail around the spout, on the handle and rim and gilt flowers to the body. The circular lid is decorated to match the tea pot. The bottom of the tea pot has the dark blue crescent mark for Worcester made between 1755-90.
The tea pot and lid are both in very good condition with little wear to the gilt decoration. (Circa 1760)
