I'd invite you to my big estate sale in a few weeks, but you live over 180 miles away!

Beautiful! And would be perfect for my quilt.  By the way, if you go into the lace tablecloth page there are some great hints about cleaning these.  There is also a site on eBay that they refer you to.  I've had a pile of hankies for a couple of years that I hated to toss but they had those horrible stains where they were folded and guess what?  Their suggestion worked!!  I can actually use them for my quilt now!  I only ruined two because I had one with red and blue crossstitch that ran onto it and onto another.  The ones with the colored patterns were fine.

I found these two hankies among the items in my aunt's estate. One is smaller (the one with lilac color), but has a fancy edge. The other is a larger,  plain linen one, but has what looks like crochet work around the edge.

The good thing is that it would be such a quiet knock that you wouldn't hear it and you wouldn't have to answer!!!

A hankie door! What a clever idea!
