Another thought about the pictures you are sharing , the booth has a lot of nice shelving and cubbies which can be used in interesting ways. As they say..... This booth has good "bones" . Now it could use a makeover.

I would have to analyze booth you are showing further, but one suggestion I have is to vary the heights of objects using risers.

I wonder how many folks do enjoy "smells".  I, for one, do NOT.  Yes, if I visit you at home and you have fresh baked cookies, I love the aroma.  But, I do not appreciate the various artificial aromas in shops - I will walk out.  Of course, I am also a person who goes by the main store for Yankee Candle once or twice a week and will NEVER walk in their door. :-)

THIS IS NOT MY BOOTH, but what do you guys think?  Is this ok or too much?  I don't like the glass on the floor, but to me this booth only attracts people interested in glassware.  Of course it draws me in!  LOL

In the photos below, the turquoise 60s resin napkin holder catches your eye, I love it.  I have something else there now. Allot of my hints I got from Dianne Zweig's sites on Decorating a antique booth.  They have been very helpful.  I'm always wanting to learn more on how to arrange my booth, to look nice and draw shoppers in.

Thanks Chris for the complements of my booth.  When I re decorate, I stand back and look to see if I was a shopper would I like to go in that booth.  I try to put something in the booth to draw attention into the booth.  I think potting benches are really useful in antique booths.  Here is mine, at several different times of the year.  This is the first thing you see when you walk in my booth.   I change the lamp every few months or when the lamp sells.

Thanks for such wonderful ideas. I can't wait to implement them into my little shop. I like the idea of putting like colors together whether glass or pottery. I will re-arrange on Thurs when I go there. Thanks a lot! :)

I thought of one more thing that, at least to me as a customer, is important. Keep the booth clean. There is nothing I dislike more than picking up items that have not been dusted or otherwise cleaned in weeks and weeks. If for no other reason, do you want your potential customers picking up dusty glass or dishes and then handling your linens? Thee are some items that may have rust or dirt which cannot be removed but dusting and polishing is a must for me and it shows me you care about your items and want to show them in the best light.

These are all great ideas. I've been doing this for a long time and at times we become complacent in regard to our spaces. I feel the #1 thing is to keep it moving. I rearrange things on a regular basis and always have people comment how fresh and new things look. You can have a customer come in week after week and not see an item until it is moved to a new place in the shop.

The video had wonderful display ideas. I seldom use actual display pieces. I love to use old shelves, crates, and boxes to display things. This looks like a great site to belong to.
