need help identifing this black memorabilia ashtray - need to know if somthing is missing

Need help on if this vintage Black Memorabilia Ashtray is missing something. It looks like to me the man should be holding something like a cigeratte (I Hope) - Because if it is something else, i might need to remove it from Junkables antiques.
