Hi Sherry,

Just joined this site a short time ago and would certainly like to see more posts on stamps, FDC's and similar.

Dear Rich, I have a book of old stamps from the 40s that I haven't had the opportunity to explore. That project is on my bucket list and I plan to get to them ASAP. You'll be the first to know. I have a 3 cent sealed stamp of Thomas Jefferson from Mark Twain's museum sent with photos in a book envelope. If interested, I can send you a photo..Welcome aboard! Sherry

Thank you for the offer.  I will be looking forward to receiving the photo.

Good morning Rich, Here's 3 stamps you may can view with your loupe..I also found 4 old sheets from Lewis stamp co. /Canada. I can send photos ..sorry for the lack of clarity..If interested, I can take a closer shot of the Jefferson 3 cent stamp. Sherry

Rich, where are you? What's your evaluation of these stamps? Sherry

Hi Sherry,

Don't know if my last reply went through so I'll try again.  Sorry for the delay.  I was away and couldn't get back, (Snow).

Looking at the photo I see the 3c Lincoln, (Scott 555), which is used and attached.  Worth maybe $1 used.  But since it is on an env. the value is greatly reduced to a give away.  The other 2 would be the same.   I certainly would be interested in seeing any photos you may have.  Again, sorry for the delay.

Dear Rich, photos attached are the Canadian stamps. I can send closer shots of any of interest. Sherry

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for the photos.  Looks like they all are on stamp hinges and cancelled, which in today's takes away the value.  Hard to evaluate as the dealer neglected to put the Scott #'s to identify the stamp.  That would make it a lot easier.  Especially for the "Queen" issues.  If you would like I could look them up in my catalogs from the photos.  It may take awhile but I certainly would do it.
