President Obama Memorabilia

Obama memorabilia is bound to become a whole new category in our collecting world. It's a sure bet that those millions of people that descended on Washington to celebrate our new president, as well as the many millions watching worldwide, will want something special to commemorate the event.

Although it's always nice when a collectible or piece of memorabilia appreciates in value, it's important to realize that most things won't appreciate, especially when many thousands of items were made.

It will be very hard in this day and age of mass production to have anything become valuable over time.  The secret is to know "what" will appreciate as opposed to holding onto everything that comes across your desk, so to speak, and culling your inventory.  Seeing that Obama did, in fact, make history in 2008, what would you consider a commerative item that would not only hold its value, but increase its value in the future.
