FREMONT – The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums offers a Model Train Clinic from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 2, in the Hayes Museum. Veteran model train hobbyists lead the clinic and will assist participants with advice related to model train maintenance and repair, and estimate the value of older model trains. Admission is $2 per person, or free with the purchase of a museum ticket. Attendees also can enjoy the “Hayes Train Special,” which is on display through Jan. 3.
Regular museum admission is $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors and $3 for children ages 6 to 12. The museum is at the corner of Hayes and Buckland avenues. For information, call 419-332-2081.

For more than 20 years, the Waynesboro Model Railroad Club has hosted its annual winter open house for the public.
The holiday open house, off Pa. 16 at Waynecastle Road, across from GRC General Contractor, continues Jan. 2, 3, 16 and 17, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Jan. 5 and 12 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

DETROIT (AP) - Model trains, tracks and accessories will be displayed and sold during the Glancy Trains Show at the Detroit Historical Museum.
The Detroit Historical Society says the show runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and will feature train workshops.
Technicians will be on hand to offer help and repair advice for trains that are not working.
Admission is $2.
This group needs a new conductor (moderator)...any volunteers....
