Do You Use Vintage Linens For Holidays?

It is so very difficult to find lovely  tablecloths for holidays. Do you use vintage linens for special events? Tell us about your special linens. Do you cover your tablecloths with a topper cloth? How do you care for? Do stains bother you ?

I use antique lines every day.  I put a placemat on them to help keep them clean but small stains don't bother me.  The really nice ones I save for holidays.  The ones with holes I use at my camp.  I don't have any new dishtowels at all.

The trouble is when I get tired of my table and get another one of a different size.  I have to start collecting all over again!

Oh, I forgot to tell you that all my drapes are different barkcloth of matching colors. And, of course I am making a quilt of hankies.  Ah....linens!
