Western Trails Antique Mall is on the edge of Bandera, Texas. It is on the banks of the Medina river and is the self-proclaimed birthpace of the "cowboy". 22,000 square feet of two story shopping. This place was a mohair warehouse and has been a hardware store. It boasts one of the first elevators west of the Mississippi. (still works) The staff is awesome and very helpful and you can find anything western in addition to a whole lot of antiques. There are more quality primitives here than most places. I've seen tools (Winchester, Keen-Kutter, Stanley, etc.) wagon wheels, churns, cameos, arrow heads, galssware, Lladro, poultry feeders, Rolex, WWI and II, books, glassware, stained glass, furniture and on and on. They even have a real printing press probably weighing 1000 lbs+++. It's definately an interesting place that you can't see in two or three hours.
