I have a bunch of odd glasses, dessert cups and stemware of which I don't think there are over 3 matching pieces of any. I've been putting these for years for 25¢ each and nobody even looks at them. The Salvation Army doesn't want them. It seems  a shame to junk them.  Any suggestions how I can make them more salable?

i just googled the Cameron article.. very funny! I have had only one yard sale and it wasn't that bad but it was very close.

Maybe someone could persuade the site administrators to have a "tag/garage/estate sale humor" section. Has anyone ever read Bruce Cameron's tirade about a tag sale he had? It's a riot. I'm sure there are many other  funny jokes and cartoons about sales, some may even be true. Invite people to post their actual horror or funny stories about their sales.

I didn't think it was necessary to remove that post about the shocked looked on people's faces....I have an estate sale biz and thought it injected a bit of humor and there is truth to it....and it started the thread going, which Scott responded to. Not sure why it was removed.

may be a regional lingo thing but in Pa and Ohio we call this type of sale a "Tag Sale" and an "Estate Sale" is usually an auction. If the person is still alive I see "Living Estate" listed often.
