savannagh, your bedroom set is from the 1930's-40's, would not be classified as antique (100+ years old(( cars tho at 25 years old)), it would be vintage, or collectable, price per pc ?? depends on what they are, the condition, location, value is all supply and demand, higher demand higher prices.

I have no idea where to start, but have been browsing this website and you all seem to know what your talking about. So - I have a set of furniture, which someone told me it is not antique (which it was sold to me that way) but vintage. I have no idea. Can someone please help me with a description of this furniture and about how much it would be per piece? I have a few pictures, but only attached 1 so that I don't bombard you. Thank you oh so much.

We have expanded the former (Eastlake and Victorian Group) to now cover a broadere spectrum of furntiure periods and styles. The original Furniture Group was started by Nina Burke. We thank her for beginning this group.

Our new expanded Furniute Group will be moderated by two IAO members, Criag of B& C Emporium and Vince of Green Spot Antiques. I look forward to seeing a good deal of activity in this group and welcome the new moderators.
