LB has a background in history, art history, and museum studies. She currently works at an art museum. In her spare time, she enjoys antiquing with her fiance and refurbishing objects that seem beyond help. LB collects many things these days, but her first true passion was Limoges porcelain. She is excited to serve as moderator and to see the great stories and photos everyone has to share.

This group needs a new Moderator for 2016. Anyone able to assume this role?

Collector's plates are not good sellers in upstate NY. I stopped at a "thrift" store and the proprietior had a set of "Honeymooners" plates fro $3 each and hadn't sold any. I sent my mom's "Wizard of Oz" plates to auction. She paid $25 apiece for teh 6 plats and I got $5 for the lot. I still have a Knowles "South Pacific" plate out at my tag sale and advertised it on eBay classifieds, Craig's List and Facebook Online Garage Sale. No one has shown any interest in it.
