Egyptian? Roman? Mythological Motif Brass & Glass Buttons

Hi, I picked up 4 of these buttons recently & am hoping someone can help me determine their approximate age or provide info regarding style that might help me research them.

They appear to be brass, have glass cabochon centers. Egyptian motif? Not sure what the animals are...perhaps a mythological theme? They measure 1 1/2" & each weighs about 15 grams.
