Vintage dog-shaped perfumes - two sizes. The smaller one is 2.5" tall at the cap and the larger is 4.5" tall. The larger one has printing embossed on the bottom - difficult to make out, but diligent research revealed it's MANON FRERES who produced several scents (apple blossom, carnation, gardenia, jasmin and mimosa) contained in this style bottle. Probably 1950's.

Hi Ladies,
The heat of summer has got us down in central Illinois, always returns when school begins.
I've posted this bottle before but hope maybe a newbie might be able to help me identify.
Hello All,
I have had a bottle that I still haven't been able to identify.
Maybe you can help.
It is porcelain with raised applied flowers. It has MOP glaze. Stands 3.25 with cap and 2.75 inches wide.
Thank you
Yes, I would agree with Reanee, The stopper is a bit odd for that bottle, and like she said, this is common. ( I must have 6-7 mis-matched stoppers and bottles, none of which fit - ugh)
But, after seeing the base, I'm fairly certain my first guess is correct. USA 40's-50's and it probably had a larger stopper. So many companies made these, it's nearly impossible to say which one, but you could try goggle images, if your patient - you may find it! :)
Hi Lillian, I think that the stopper does not go with the base. If these are both ground, the person making the match would have made sure the stopper's edge that fits in the bottle was even with the bottle opening. This stopper sits too high in this bottle. This is not a bad thing, as through the years many tops and bases have been broken. Folks saved the good part and "married" them with other mates.
