I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

Hello,

I recently inherited 7 antique pipes and I know nothing about them. Age, value, how to sell them...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I may have to post in several posts. If you would like to see all picts of pipes, I can email them to you if you provide your personal email.

Thanks for you help!

Eric

Hi Eric,

The Wellington you have is a lower end mid price pipe, probably from the 40's-50's. A nice smoker in general. I attached an old ad of such pipes. It's valued probably in the $35 range or so. I would need its dimensions to be more accurate.

The Edward's is a well-known maker, and your pipe should be from the 1960's and as all Edward's, it is an Algerian Briar. Also a good smoker. I attached an old ad of such pipes. This one seems like a small pipe, it's valued probably in the $20-25 range or so. I would need its dimensions to be more accurate.

In case you are interested, I would like to acquire these two pipes.

Regards,

Abraham

The ivory one looks like a Meerschaum pipe.
