I cannot find a makers mark on this chair but two antique dealers have suggested it is European Art Deco. I've looked through books and online but haven't found one. I'd appreciate any guidance on possibly a different place to look for the makers mark or any ideas on the manufacturer. TIA

Hi Theresa, I'd call this more "Transitional" - Between Victorian era and Art Nouveau era, 1880 - 1910 ish. Hope that helps, it's very cool!
