I have had a pin out on eBay for a couple weeks .. think I identified it correctly .. thought there might be interest …    or someone would make an offer .. but nada.   I am getting the feeling it may not be what I offered it as.   Not sure I am allowed to link my eBay sale here so will not do that .. but check it out please .. thanks … Zeke

**This 1980's brooch is by the highly collectible, Taxco silversmith known as Two Trees.

**HALLMARKS: MEXICO, TS-79, 925. This Two Trees letter-number, silver registration mark is documented in Bille Hougart's The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks.

**The interior is stamped “Mexico TS-70 925”.  According to the Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks, TS-70 was used by the Two Trees studio of Taxco.

There are NOT two trees on the back of these item anywhere??

Circa post-1980, this is a heavy fabulous bangle bracelet from noted Taxco silversmith Two Trees, whose hallmark is two pine trees.

Now, I understand.  He is a relatively new artist but he sometimes does and sometimes does not use the TREES part of the Hallmark!

Well I feel some better, but this was no way recent.  We are almost certain in the 1950s when she was there.   So maybe the studio has deeper roots!    I have no clue.  There is some possibility she may have acquired Circa 1960 when she was buying.   But no later.  This is not anything from 1980 we feel certain.   Hey.   I have learned a ton.   The wee thing isn’t worth more effort.  Thank you, thank you, thank you all!   Or BOTH I should, say.   Zeke.
