Oh I do love those also! My Mom had a partial set, and I'm not sure if it was Franciscan or a knockoff?
I don't remember well enough, but I do know she got them using Green Stamps! LOL, I helped her get them by putting all the stickers in the books for her!
To bad we don't have any fun promo's like those anymore. It's been years since I've even seen a Peanut butter or Jelly glass, in the grocery store or an "Arby Glass" for Christmas! What are they thinking?
:)
WOW Ellene! Are you going to replace it with something else? Please do share?
LOL. I wanted to replace my old Corelle dishes with ca. 1980's and/or 90's Fiesta ware, but I found it to be to expensive. So, I am awaiting a sale or auction where I might be able to get enough Fiesta ware to start, at a lower price!
I still keep my ca 1920's-30's Wedgwood "Queensware" for special occasions.
What do you use for everyday?
I sold my Frankoma collection!
I love the shape of this Onondaga Pottery dish, Lillian! I agree it would make a fine gravy boat.
I found this info:
O.P.Co was the mark for Onondaga Pottery Company.
O.P.Co with a solid line beneath, then the word CHINA was used from 1890-1895.
So true, Lillian! :)
Love the cuckoo clock. It tells the right time twice a day.
