Tressemanes and Vogt was a porcelain factory in the Limoges region of France, creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind porcelain from approximately 1880's through 1919. As time progresses, I will discuss the history and the various hallmarks used throughout the tenure of the company and show a wide range of the styles of cups manufactured (the beauty of these cups demands a better word - created!). Enjoy!
Beautiful! Pink roses are my downfall :) I'll have to see if I can find some lovely pieces of T&V with the same level of beautiful pink roses!
Truely beautiful! I love the display.
Thank you, Donna! I guess you can tell I have a "thing" for pink roses? :)
Oh my!! Congratulations, Elaine!
Thank you, Ellene! :)
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous pieces with us Elaine!
I've got a rather unusual T&V Limoges. It is NOT floral, nor is it Color and it's HUGE! LOL
I was given an approx. estimate of $1800 years ago of course, Today who knows?
I've just searched everywhere for my pics and can't find them, I will take new one's to share with you, sorry. I am hopelessly "untechy" :(
Your pics are fine, Vicki! How unusual is this piece!!
Well, from what I've been able to find out, there are very few that are non floral, ever made.
The black and white and the Scene also, seem to be quite rare, which was why I guess, the person I had asked (years ago) said possibly $1800. But that was long before the market crashed, so I don't expect it would be worth anywhere near that today - Bummer! LOL
Just as a guesstimate, I figure maybe a few hundred today.
