T & V Limoges Cups and Saucers! Unique and Elegant

Tressemanes and Vogt was a porcelain factory in the Limoges region of France, creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind porcelain from approximately 1880's through 1919.    As time progresses, I will discuss the history and the various hallmarks used throughout the tenure of the company and show a wide range of the styles of cups manufactured (the beauty of these cups demands a better word - created!).  Enjoy!

I sent a reply to you after viewing your urn, but I think it disappeared!  I think your urn is absolutely stunning and I've never seen anything like it at all from T&V!  I can't imagine that it could dip from $1800 down to just a few hundred!  There is one person that I know of who is a true expert on Limoges in general and she might be able to give an accurate appraisal of your piece.  There might be some expense involved, but personally, I think it is worth it.  Her name is Debby DuBay and her website is www.limogesantiques. com.  You can contact her personally via her webpage and she may be able to give you some information or steer you in the correct direction!  Good luck and keep us posted!  (Update:  I noticed on her webpage that her fees are $75 per hour, minimum 4 hours!  Don't let that deter you.  Contact her anyway to see what she has to say.)
