These are different .. look like ice cream cone or frosting swirls. Any information you can pass on as to circa would be appreciated. Kind of funky aren't they. The reason I am going through my stash of buttons is that they have become overflowing. Because I use vintage "stuff" in my fiber art, I have over the years collected jewelry, buttons, silks, lace, etc ... and use them on my fiber creations. Now is the time to shed some of the "stuff" and pass it on to others and keep a little for myself. Measure 3/4" across and 1/2" tall. Thank you for looking and sharing your knowledge:)

Ah well, this reply comes a few years late, since I wasn't aware of this group, but I love the appearance of these buttons.
They are extruded celluloid, circa 1930's. Are the shanks plastic or metal enamel? They are simply wonderful.
