That is so cute, Lillian!

"During the mid 19th Century, detailed miniatures were created by factories to assist the travelling salesmen.  Everything from hand-crafted furniture, cast iron cook stoves, china & glass, the ice-box, even automobiles and farm implements were used in the advertising and selling of wares across North America." The Glass Menagerie Antiques & Collectibles

Even china!

A tiny teapot with a nautical motif.

Gosh, Ellene, I've got tons of miniature Limoges like the ones you pictured!  One of my collecting passions :)

You are right, Elaine! Tons of miniature Limoges! Just beautiful.

One advantage of miniature is that you can collect even more! :)

That's why I moved from such things as full sized tea cups, to demitasse, to miniature - because I'm running out of room!

I love these!

Vintage miniature porcelain bud vases, lot of 3 small vases with applied 3 D roses, made in Germany

Ellene, I have dozens of similar mini vases with the flowers, but probably not German - more likely Dollar Store acquisitions. Had for years out at my tag sales and no one even looks at them. Yours, are nice, though.

So sweet!  I love the detail.  Porcelain flowers are one of my downfalls.

Another souvenir mini teapot.

I love your tiny tea pot, Lillian!

As you might have guessed by now, miniatures are one of my passions!  Here's a little case filled with blown glass animals and pitchers.  I still have three spots I need to fill!  :)
