Ingrahm clock

We have this clock. Not sure of it's age. I haven't been able to find one like it looking on the internet. It isn't working right now. Would it be worth it to have it repaired or would that repair cost more than the value of the clock? we are in the mid west.

That's a cutel little clock. I believe it dates to the 1930s. Ingraham also had a line of similar electric clocks in Art Deco-influenced wood cases from that period. They were also involved in making cases for radios, and the radio and clock case designs have certain similarities in the use of curves, inlays, streamlining, etc. Your clock appears to have a simple alarm-clock movement. It may be a simple repair or maybe not. It's difficult to justify the cost of repair of any inexpensive clock if you base the decision just on the monetary value of the clock. But there are often other values involved, such as family connections, love of the design, etc.

Probably under $50 if non-working, maybe a little more than that if working. Of course, if it  were displayed in a shop specializing in Art Deco period furnishings, it might have a higher price tag and could perhaps find a buyer if someone really liked the design.
