Just finished soaking a quilt; it's out on the lawn now to dry - we're supposed to have warm sunshine all day, so it's perfect for it. Hope the animals stay away from it! I'll try to get a picture later.

Dry cleaners can be the worst option for quilts, unless they have experience with them. There are a couple of dozen cats around here, too, but they won't go on the quilt while it's still pretty wet; after that I'll cover it with sheets.

Randi, I wish you luck with your quilt!
Sharon, I'll be watching for your pics! It's rainy, cloudy type weather here. I have to work all this weekend so I'll bet it will be sunny, and then rain on my next day off! LOL
I have vintage sheets, pillowcases and tablecloths to clean and hang outside. Oh, well... :O)

Here's the one I washed; it came out pretty nice, just one little spot left that I think is paint.....

Don't know what to tell - It may be from a kit... there are four different patterns of snowflake appliqued on it, a lot of delicate work. Probably from the 1930's or 40's.
