"Not sure how a curtain would attach to it if it was a curtain rod.  I think it may have been a towel rod. Nice piece of "Americana", hand made no less."

It's beautiful carved wood with ornate design on the ends. Measuring 27 1/2" long, the middle is 1/2" high, the ends measure 3/4" high.See More
