Julie, I love your dishes and your old house, it is just amazing. I am curious about your pictures of Ohio, and the statue of Annie Oakley. I collect old western stuff since I live in the Sierria Nevada Mountains out west, and wondered about if Annie was from your area? Is that why there is a statue there of her? I am also in the doll group, I am a doll appraiser with my own website and work for another big group online as a paid doll appraiser. That is just my hobby though. I also have a lot of civil war items, and old western or civil war books from the 1800s, and peridod pieces.

Julie, I hope you get the quilt as you are so fond of it! There are a few I have, that I would never part with! I should say...'when' you get it...please post some photos at the quilt group! :O)
I hope to see more photos of your home!

Julie, if you have really good solid wood floors, it's even worth it to have them redone, if they are in terrible shape. If they aren't, maybe they can be rebuffed and treated by someone who does wood flooring. It's worth it to get someone knowledgeable, as sanding floors is so hard, and difficult to make it level. I've refinished antique furniture, but I would leave wood floors to someone else. I'm happy for you, as wood floors will only increase the value in your home!

Hi Julie! I wonder if there is any type of plastic or polyeurothane coating that could be used on that cushion type underlay on your floors! It would be so cool to preserve a flooring from the 1940's! But...is there any old oak plank, or similar wood floors underneath that! If so...that would really be beautiful!!!
I luv the ceilings you've shown! Take care, Diane Mc
