What to do in a no-flea market zone?

I am terribly guilty of being an impulse buyer. Sometimes I don't know what I want until I see it. This has led to some great finds and a few wonderful 'steals'. But this type of shopping lends itself best to brick and mortar second hand stores, junk shops and antique malls. It is hard to find what you are looking for online when you don't know what it is you are looking for. Where did the time go?

I've been away for a while, just too busy to get to every place I want. One of the things that has kept me busy is my booth at Bonanzle. I'm trying to get all the little bells and whistles that I would like it to have set up before I get too much listed. Also spending too much time browsing other people's booths as there is so many great vintage items there. I spend too much time coveting teacups and saucers and other vintage china and porcelain figurines.

Holiday Collections

It is the big weekend, the weekend when I bring up the plastic totes from the basement and start unpacking my Christmas things to decorate the house. I always wait until the first full weekend in Dec. or the 7th, which ever comes last.



I'll unpack the dozens of angels, most of which are from the 60's and early 70's, but some older. There are the ornaments that include some that are at least 50 years old and kitchsy ones from around 1973. And I'll carefully unwrap and put out of reach… Continue
