I've been away for a while, just too busy to get to every place I want. One of the things that has kept me busy is my booth at Bonanzle. I'm trying to get all the little bells and whistles that I would like it to have set up before I get too much listed. Also spending too much time browsing other people's booths as there is so many great vintage items there. I spend too much time coveting teacups and saucers and other vintage china and porcelain figurines.
Also have been working on the old house as much as we can. The modern/french country eclectic kitchen is the next project to finish. I hate to do it, but will probably have to remove some of the custom cabinets my dad built in the 50's. Hoping the changes will be minimal. Also trying to figure out the best way to display my collection of tea pots, tea cups and saucers, and vintage kitchen gadgets & utensils. I'm not even sure how many I have as everything has been packed away for so long.
I have a few new things to display as well since my vintage bakelite handled eggbeater finally stopped working effectively. It was my mother's and I'm sure she got it new. Looks to be a 50's vintage, but I'm not sure. It certainly has a long and useful life though. Also trying to decide if I want to display her old Sunbeam Mixmaster. The bowls are long gone, but I could probably find replacements easily enough. It might look nice on the long plate shelf that runs along one wall or displayed on the counter.
I'm sure it will all come together, but it is going to take time.
