Royal Copenhagen is definitely the porcelain brand in Denmark, who is most famous of all. It is known overlat abroad and has always attracted attention at auctions and in antique shops around the world.

The past 20 years, porcelain series not been very popular here in Denmark, and the prices went right to the bottom. A few years ago you could buy Royal Copenhagen for no money.

So it is partly still, for the small character's case - while the major characters that would otherwise have been impossible to sell here in Denmark, rise sharply. It can be seen at auction in Denmark where it must almost be pinching himself in the arm, over the price increases will happen from auction to auction.

The ceramics from Royal Copenhagen has not enjoyed the same popularity porcelain, and increases in these stoneware figurines, vases, dishes and more. Has already happened and it seems hardly seems that these prices is to stop - the figures are popular in Denmark and abroad -

In particular, 2 artists are highlighted. It's Axel Salto and Knud Kynn - Salto is known for its unique vases - eg. thorn vase while Kyhn is known for his animal characters.

There has always been customers for Royal Copenhagen figurines in the U.S., and these customers now have competition from the Danes, now again interested in the delicate matters.

Entire interest, I deem is a step in the vintage interest, are rampant at the moment, both in Denmark and elsewhere.

Apart from Royal Copenhagen is very beautiful and well done is having the advantage of porcelain that all porcelain can be timed accurately determined and the artist is clear from the parts - You must know the secret, but it is not great - it's easy to figure out the system, as long as one knows what the markings mean. You can never be cheated in terms of age, when we talk Royal Copenhagen.

Royal Copenhagen is very well preserved - In Denmark, there has virtually been no exhibits in private homes, making Royal Copenhagen attractive to grab because it usually appears as entirely new, although it may be 60 - 70 years old.
