Very unusual antique silver plated nautical-theme oil lamp with lighthouse and ship in the middle, and a life preserver base. It measures 5" across, has a finger-grip handle (in the shape of a leaf), and has a letter "C" (or it may be just a decoration) embossed on both sides of both "hulls" of the "ship." The knobs on either side can be pulled out. One has some sort of a tong, like pincers, the other side is missing whatever would have been attached to it. The "lighthouse beacon" finial screws off, and it seems that a wick would have passed through the tube in the center. Anyone have any ideas where and when this could have been made? I am attaching a picture.
