When WWII halted the import of Rattan to the US, famous manufacturers like Heywood-Wakefield began to incorporate other quality material like oak into their designs. The result was the creation of undoubtedly some of the finest pieces of Rattan ever made. We have a wonderful living room suite that is the example of the best of Heywood-Wakefield.
