I recently found this rocking chair at an estate sale. The owner said that it belonged to his wifes Grandmother. He's not sure of the age, but figures about 75 years old. It appears to be in solid shape, but needs refinished. Can anyone tell me if there might be some value here? The height of the back is just under 35". Under the seat are 2 pcs. of angle iron. I don't know if that is original, but appears to be. Thanks.

This chair looks like it's been dip-stripped already. The way the seat planks separated is the giveaway. Generally whole chairs are put into these chemical dip tanks and just parts are taken out with a rake. It's not a good way to treat old furniture.
You'd do well to post your chair under the group Antique and Vintage Furniture. There are several people there that know furniture well and can advise you.
