Does anyone out there collect or deal in the Dewey pattern Vaseline Glass? I have my personal collection of about 30 seperate pieces and would like to purchase more. Please contact me if you have any to sell. This is really getting hard to find in the midwest.

I appreciate you taking the time to check things out. Good hunting. I also checked the website you provided and sent an email to the owner. Thanks again for your help. Mike

Hi Mike, I'm not sure if i have some of this glass in my stock, after the weather gets a little better I will certainly check throu my stock.
I've seen a few pieces in a town just north of were I live. I will take my camcorder with me and capture a few photos for you.
After reading your blog, ran a search and found some information on this webpage:

I started collecting this glass when my mother gave me 2 parfaits about 6 years ago that belonged to my grandmother. My mother thought they were bud vases. In fact they are parfaits and came with small lids. I have never see the lids for the Vaseline version. I have the glasses, plates, cruet, mugs, pithcer, creamer, both sugars, the smaller serpentine tray, the salt shaker, small berry bowls. I am still lacking the large berry bowl, the large serpentine tray, the pepper shaker, and some other plates. Thanks to my gift I have almost collected each piece of the set. But items have gotten very hard to find. I live in the midwest and travel to Kansas, Missouri and Texas and have never found any in an antique shop. You would be surprised how many antique dealers that do not even know what the patter is. It was made in the last 1800's by the Greentown Glass Company to commerate Admiral Dewey and the Spanish American War. Keep you eyes out for me. I'm a buyer for most anything. Mike
