THIS IS A STATUE THAT WAS A GIFT TO US AFTER MY HUSBAND GOT A TATTOO OF A PERUVIAN GOD ON HIS FOREARM. OUR DAUGHTER SAW THIS AND HAD TO GET IT FOR HIM AS IT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AS HIS TATTOO. IT IS COVERED COMPLETELY WITH PEICES/CHIPS OF TURQUOUSE. WE WOULD LIKE TO SELL IT BUT NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT IT IS WORTH SO, CAN ANYONE OUT THERE PLEASE HELP US HERE? THANKS,
SHIRLEY.

Several years ago I bought a large Aztec calendar wall hanging made of the same turquoise composite material for $45. I think it is made of dyed rock chips in resin, a material used from the 1950s-70s.

How do you know it's turquoise? Turquoise is much bluer. Your item looks like Mexican jade which is rather cheap (Inexpensive). Also, the word is Peruvian (being of or from Peru).
