A Large Collection of 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM Vinyl Records were given to us, back in the early 1990's, by an old DJ friend of ours for helping him move to another city. There were approximately 3000 items.
These Records were carefully boxed and have always been stored inside our house in a cool and dry atmosphere. We have enjoyed listening to some of them.
Release dates for these Original Recordings apparently range from the mid 1940's to the late 1980's. There is a wide variety of music and Artists, including some obscure selections that we are not familiar with.
Unfortunately, in order to create additional space for our new lifestyle, we must painfully part with the majority of these Vintage Records. Over the next few months, we will be auctioning them individually or in common lots featuring a specific style.
This Large Collection Included Commercial and Promo:
10" 78 rpm Singles
7" to 12" 45 rpm Singles
7" to 12" 45 rpm EP's
33 1/3 rpm LP Albums
Picture Sleeves
Some records are still Factory Sealed. The rest will be graded by overall appearance or play according to the best of our abilities. There are certain items, especially some of the extremely old selections, that are in poor condition and only useful as a non-playable personal collectible or for a display.
Most of the vinyl is in Very Good condition without any warps, skips, serious surface scratches or excessive noise unless noted.
Picture Sleeves and Album Covers are also in Very Good condition unless otherwise noted.
Certain records have a sticker or writing on the Label. Most markings are cues from a Disc Jockey for intro time, type of song end, or other information. Some Labels are worn from repeated play.
The original Factory sleeve, or a generic paper sleeve, is included with most vinyl.
Please Note:
All of our records are visually inspected before posting, but not necessarily played, unless there is an obvious potential defect. Any skipping of these records could depend upon the alignment of your Turntable system (Tone arm weight, Stylus condition, ETC.). These are Vintage Records and we cannot guarantee how well they will play on individual systems.
Yes, we still have a couple of excellent record players because there are some great tunes on Vinyl album tracks and the flip sides of 45 singles that are very hard to find on CDs or the internet. Some of the promotional records also have material that was never released to the general public.
Many of the songs brought back some wonderful memories for us. Hopefully, among the items we are listing, there will be a title or musician that is very special for you or someone you love.
Please feel free to E-Mail us if you have any questions. Whether Classic or Highly Collectible, this is a great opportunity to own some of our Vintage, Vinyl Records.
