There's nothing more gratifying than rescuing and recycling vintage quilts, except maybe doing custom work for the quilts owner. I blogged about it today and I new my friends at I Antique would appreciate it....

I was given an antique silver coin and would like to know if anyone could establish it's worth.
Silver Dollar, 1922, Woman's head with "crown" on front, sitting eagle on back on rock with an olive branch and the word "peace" etched on the rock.
Any thoughts?

Hi, I'm new to group and on my way in the door, Dianne convinced me to start a group centered around my main passion, movie collectibles. Well, I've got that set up and await Dianne's announcement of it tomorrow, but in the process we had an interesting discussion which made me think I should begin the group's content with a quick clarification.
We decided to call it "
Movie Cards, Collectibles and Memorabilia,"…

The ups and downs of the secondary market on Hallmark Keepsake Collectibles in the past has been like no other roller coaster ride! Today, even though the prices have stabilized, as always, I would say collect them - just because you love them. The ornaments are especially charming and a great treasure to pass down from generation to generation with all the memories of Christmas to give them meaning.

1973 Betsy Hallmark Keepsake Ornament -…
