"I don't know about Texas dogwood, but in Oregon our dogwoods have 4 petals, not 5...so I'd go with Cherry blossoms. I do agree sake set, or maybe tea cups.  Traditional Japanese cups don't have handles."

"I don't know about Japan, but here in Texas we would call that hallmark a dogwood blossom.  On account of the divots at the end of each flower petal. I bet it's part of a sake set."

Thank you Brenie for your recent email. I have checked their web site once before and gave up. Thanks for reminding me about the site, because they had a tea set that was close in style and four years older than my set. Hopefully one day with a little luck , I will find out more about my set.
