I'll be there selling in the New England Motel field, booth 112B :) I plan on shopping Tuesday before I set up and hope to make it to the textile show tomorrow too!

- About Me
- I just LOVE a good estate sale. I go as often as I can. I love to reuse things from the past because they are made so much better than things today, and they are much more interesting. I am particularly fond of items from the 1950's and also look for housewares from the 40's-60's with an occasional item of 70's funk. These finds already have a story to tell, and I think it is amazing to walk into someone's life and see what books they read and what clothes they wore. I am offering things that I like but either don't quite fit my decor or I just know is a good find. I guess this shop is a good excuse for me to go estate shopping and pick up cool stuff.
I also run a little cottage industry called artgoodies. I make linocut block print towels, aprons, and stuffie mini pillows. I use vintage fabric ( I have thousands of yards :) -mostly 40's-60's for my apron bands and ties and the backs of my pillows. Check out my work at http://www.artgoodiesonline.com

- Welcome to our terrific site. I hope when you get comfortable here you will take the time to post some photos of your collection(s), join as many groups as you like (click on Groups at the top of your page) , make some friends, customize your profile page (easy templates provided), write an article, make an announcement on our main forum (main page) or post in any of the specialty group forums. Be sure to visit Whadja Find (tell others what you found) and also visit the Antique Market Place.(where you can sell antiques, collectibles, art.
By the way....each group has its own forum and also a comment wall (like a bulletin board). Forums help keep the threads (topics) organized. You are always welcome to start a new forum in any group. The Main forum is for general announcements for the whole community.
