great grandmothers vase

hi.. i recentely in inherited this vase from my mother it was belonging to her grandmother, i dont no anything about it because it has no makers name, but it dose have a serial number underneath. it is green and cream in colour with pink roses on its side. is there a way i can trace the makers name through the serial number. would really like to no more about this vase. would really appreciate any information                                         best wishes alanSee More

"Hi there Alan . The maker is probably a company in Germany. The serial number is usually the pattern number. Although not 12 inches tall , I would venture to guess the item is still a vase that was used as a planter for ferns which was very popular…"
